About me
“All men by nature desire to know.”
Aristotle
I’m the kind of person who likes to understand how things work. That’s what led me to study engineering in the first place. Engineering showed me how things are built. Over time, I realised that money decides what gets built at all.
Today my career is in finance, but I still see it through an engineer’s eyes. I’ve also learnt that numbers explain little without psychology, sociology, history and geopolitics. We’ve built a world so complex that I doubt anyone fully understands it, and I try to simplify it enough to make sense of it.
Here I share my own articles on current affairs and topics I find interesting. Mostly finance and economics, often alongside other disciplines that help explain why things happen.
I hope you find them interesting and, above all, that they help you make sense of the world on your own terms.
